Walker Farms Banana Bread
Ingredients:
2-3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup Walker Farms 2% A2 Protein Milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup your favourite nuts or seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the melted butter and sugar to the mashed bananas, and mix until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the A2 Protein Milk until the batter is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Sprinkle nuts and seeds to the top of the batter
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
